Registration

  1. Complete the Registration Form (PDF).
  2. Payment: Please write one check for all scouts from your troop, made payable to "UMC Ag Ed".
    Mail completed form and payment to:

Additional Event Information

  • No walk-ins permitted.
  • Field uniforms required.
  • Two adults per troop required.

Registration deadline: April 8, however, courses will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Maximum of 20 scouts per merit badge.

Cost

$10 per scout: includes all materials, lunch and a commemorative patch.

Animal Science:
For this merit badge center you'll discover the diverse world of livestock. Take an in-depth look at a specific specie and general insight at all varieties of livestock.
Weather:
Rain! Wind! Tornado! Hail! Blizzards! Flood! Hurricane! Have you ever wondered how these elements of weather happen? Do you have an interest in the outdoors?  This merit badge center will teach you about nature's elements in a fun and interactive environment!
Forestry:
Look around you...See how many things are made from trees! What kind is it? How did it get there? Come discover species of trees, shrubs, forest management and much more!
Fish and Wildlife Management:
Call all hunters, fishers, and outdoor enthusiasts! Whether you are hiking, bird watching, hunting or fishing. Everyone can benefit from fish and wildlife management. Join us for a day full of exciting projects and wildlife fun!
Plant Science:
Soil, Plants, Trees, and Bugs! Come explore the exciting world of Plant Science! Get your hand dirty and have some fun.
Entrepreneurship:
What kind of business have you dreamed about building? Why have you waited so long? Get started now with our entrepreneurship merit badge center!
Salesmanship:
How would you like to make more money? Do you want to learn how to communicate with individuals in an effective way? This merit badge center will help you learn the basis of salesmanship of any product and skills that you could use for the rest of your life.
Veterinary Medicine:
Interested in the health and care of animals of all shapes and sizes? Join us for an interactive day learning about the world of veterinary medicine and the opportunities available to you.
