Agricultural Education and Leadership Graduate Programs
Two advanced degree programs
The University of Missouri awards two advanced degrees in Agricultural Education and Leadership:
Support areas are available in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) and the College of Education.
The graduate program is designed for students with interests in the fields of agricultural and extension education, communication and informal adult education.
For some options, Distance Delivery is available.
Course work includes:
- Instructional design and delivery
- Teaching and learning theories and practices
- Educational program planning, evaluation, organization and administration
The program may also serve as a support area for students seeking other graduate degrees in CAFNR, College of Education and College of Human Environmental Sciences.
Programs individually tailored
A student's degree program is individually tailored to meet his/her unique needs for professional development.
Evening courses are also offered during each academic term to enable practicing teachers to return to MU to update and expand their knowledge and skills.
